A Friendly Reminder About Yard Maintenance

A friendly reminder about maintenance.

The Association would like to take a brief moment to ask everyone to take some time in the next few days to focus on yard maintenance.  Our routine observations will focus more heavily on yards starting March 7th.

Some of you are new to the community, so we would like to remind you of what is required under sections 2.14 and 2.15 of the Restrictions:

  • Yards must be mowed, clean, safe and attractive at all times.
  • Gardens and tree rings should be free from turf (grass).
  • All areas should be substantially free of weeds (not noticeable from the sidewalk).
  • Trees and shrubs should be pruned.
  • Lawns should be edged.
  • Sidewalks and driveways should be in good repair and free of weeds and turf – including areas by the street adjacent to your Lot.
  • Trees, lawns and gardens should be watered and fed, as necessary, to keep them alive and attractive.
  • Residents are responsible for their Lots, as well as landscaping between the boundaries of your Lot and the curb of any adjacent public right-of-way, street or alley.

If you have any questions or uncertainty about your responsibility, please do not hesitate to consult the Restrictions, or contact the Manager or the Board.  You may also contact Goodwin Management.
