The Social Committee (formerly the Welcoming Committee), or “SC”, is responsible for advising and assisting the Board of Directors with community-building. It is also responsible for planning, organizing and running social events and activities and welcoming new Residents to Northside Meadow.
The SC’s chairperson is Samantha Alvarez, and several event coordinators and volunteers. Event coordinators are members of the SC who are responsible for managing and promoting specific events and coordination with volunteers. Volunteers may or may not be committee members, but they help the SC by volunteering their time and efforts for specific events or activities.
